‘Bring the community back together’.
Our Creative Arts’ Week 2022 was a HUGE success and we have achieved exactly what we sent out to do….. ‘Bring the community back together’.
The children have taken part in a huge range of activities over the week: Bollywood dancing, a local artist teaching portrait drawing and calligraphy, Polish art, Indian cooking, learning about British Values, African drumming, celebrating the Jubilee, and designing a community tile.
We were delighted to perform our showcase to parents and celebrate the diversity within our school community. Thank you to those parents who volunteered to help with an activity or share a skill this week. A big thank you to Mrs Shinn and Mrs Peter for organising the week and, as always, the school staff for their creativity, energy and dedication to planning the most fabulous opportunities for our pupils.
